And now I'm working on something with a lot less color change between details. I just realized I'm working with less than half the layers I was before.
It's...it's like...an artistic orgasm (please note, that does not imply a REAL orgasm; that would just be awkward). It's so easy, but so rewarding. So much awesome for so little effort. Coloring in the lines never felt so good. I just thought I'd share my happiness with y'all.
You know when people post stuff for contests...
...and they write stuff like, "Oh, I doubt this will win." Or, "It's not nearly good enough; I'm so outclassed." Take a hint from someone who runs contests like these: I WILL NOT PICK YOUR ENTRY IF YOU PUT THAT IN THE COMMENTS. There's a lot of reasons why, but here's the main two!
:bulletred: First off, you need to have some faith in your entry. Did you work hard on it? Do you like it? Then fucking own it, and flaunt that bitch!! If the person running the contest doesn't pick you, well, screw that. You liked it, and even if you didn't win, you'll just have to save up for a custom, because your entry fucking rocked!!

Raffles are so much more fair, especially when a lot of your fanbase actually has a life outside of the internet...or, in my case, health problems which dragged me here, there, and fuck-all everywhere. You know how awesome it is to cough up blood for three days? If you don't, I hope you never do. I mean, I found out that it wasn't anything serious - the cough I already had tore open the scar tissue from my tonsillectomy. But before I figured that out, I was TERRIFIED. Where do I begin?! Wow, guys, I know I'm a total slacker, and I can't thank you enough for putting up with me still. You're amazing, all of you. So, I'm going to tackle the points of my life one bit at a time, for easy readability.
1. I have a job now! I'm an apprentice scriptwriter for Kenji Shimizu (and my brain is shitting kittens, believe me!!) This will obviously take a lot of my time, but I'm also hoping it will inspire me to draw more with my free time instead of playing video games or scowling at the paper and wondering why no art is appearing.

You know, Allison, I was wondering.... Why is it you really NEED a premium membership...? Plus, you aren't able to get on as mulch anymore, let alone post very much art these days, since you've been so busy elsewhere lately. Wouldn't a premium membership kind of go to waste that way? Plus, I know you already owe art to various people, so more than likely, you'd probably burn yourself out by piling on more work. :l
